Computer vision
Computer vision is the science that aims to give a similar, if not better, capability to a machine or computer. Computer vision is concerned with the automatic extraction, analysis and understanding of useful information from a single image or a sequence of images.
HCI
This niche studies the ways people interact with computers and digital systems, emphasizing how immersive technologies can transform these interactions. It includes exploring new input methods (like gesture control and eye-tracking) and understanding the cognitive and physical impacts of immersive experiences.
Visualization
Data visualization is a general term that describes any effort to help people understand the significance ofdata by placing it in a visual context. Patterns, trends and correlations that might go undetected in text-based data can be exposed and recognized easier withdata visualization software
Computer Game
This research focuses on the technical aspects of game development, including graphics, physics engines, and AI. It involves developing and optimizing, such as improving rendering techniques, enhancing real-time performance, and integrating advanced input methods.
Immersive Technology
Immersive technology research focuses on how technologies like virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR). Research includes developing new hardware (like VR headsets and AR glasses) and software (such as rendering engines and development platforms) to enhance performance.
