Master’s Degree

  • A Bachelor’s Degree with good honours from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia or any other institution of higher learning recognised by the Senate; or
  • A qualification equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree and experience in the relevant field recognised by the Senate

Doctor of Philosophy

  • A Master’s Degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia or any other Institutions of higher learning recognised by the Senate; or
  • Other qualifications equivalent to a Master’s degree and experience in the relevant field recognised by the Senate; or
  • Candidates who a currently registered in a Master’s Degree programme at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and approved by the Graduate Studies Committee of the respective faculty and the Senate.
How to Apply for Postgraduate?
To ensure smooth and quick process of applying online, we advise that you prepare the necessary documents beforehand.
When Postgraduate Admission or Intake?
Postgraduate student may APPLY ONLINE at any time, however closing date for study by taught course and by mixed-mode is on 30 November and 30 June . Application received after the closing date will be offered for next registration. In order to enroll as a student in UTM, you are required to satisfy the conditions entry requirement here.
Do you have research-mode program?
Apply Now! Application for Master and PhD by research-mode is open throughout the year and registration will be on February, May, September and November. However, candidate can registered at any time at the Student Recruitment and Admission Division.

International students are required to have Visa Approval Letter (VAL) and student pass to study in Malaysia. Please refer [HERE] for details on visa application and student pass.

VISA AND STUDENT PASS

A qualification equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree and experience in the relevant field recognised by the Senate.

Master's Degree

Candidate can registered at any time at the Student Recruitment and Admission Division office at Block F54, UTM Johor Bahru, Johor , Malaysia OR School of Graduate Studies, Level 8, Menara Razak, UTM Kuala Lumpur
